Wervelwind is a private project by Brecht Coudijzer with the aim to breed high quality allround horses with a lot of blood, as I would breed them for my own.

Our vision consists of using fully owned thoroughbred broodmares with a quality pedigree and having done what they were bred for, namely performing on the racetrack. By doing so, we count that qualities such as winning mentality + good temper, bone and feet will be passed on to their offspring.

As the broodmares have been ridden by myself, by selection we seek the 'assurance' the horses are honest and free of 'lunatic' behaviour.

The foals are born and raised in Belgium, named with the suffix 'WW' as well as registered in the BWP (Belgian Warmblood) studbook.

In the end, we have no greater joy than to see our foals depart to riders with some ambition so they can fully explore their talent and perform in whatever discipline on whatever terrain.
