Besides my freelance/interim management activities, I am also dedicated to breeding top-quality eventing horses—horses with plenty of blood, the mindset and stamina to compete at 4* and 5* level, and always bred as if I would like to ride them myself.

My vision is rooted in using fully owned thoroughbred broodmares with strong pedigrees, who have proven themselves on the racetrack. 'Battle-tested', they bring qualities such as a winning mentality, sound temperament, solid bone, and strong feet — traits I believe will be passed on to their offspring.

To complement these mares, I carefully select top-tier jumping sires—an area in which Belgium excels—adding technique, scope and power to the mix. Since the broodmares have been ridden by myself, I can personally vouch for their honesty and reliability, ensuring I avoid unpredictable or difficult characters. The offpspring of each stallion that we use in our breeding program learns us more and that information is used in our desire to have our horses around 168cm once fully grown up. A height we believe is ideal for eventers.

The horses come with a high percentage of thoroughbred blood (XX); undoubtedly necessary to finish the cross-country section in time and above all safe over the last fence.

In the end, nothing gives me greater joy than seeing these foals departure to ambitious riders who can develop their full potential and allow them to shine—whatever the discipline, whatever the terrain.
